1. Blue Ringed Octopus
Found in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, from Japan to Australia this brightly colored Octopus is like a serial killer of the ocean. The major neurotoxin in their venom is tetrodotoxin, which is 1,200 times more toxic than cyanide. Despite only measuring 5 to 8 inches in size it packs enough venom to kill 26 adult humans within minutes. The worst part is that there is no anti-venom. Basically if you get stung by one of these Blue Ringed Octopus make yourself right with whatever higher power you believe in because it likely means you are done for.
If you feared going into the ocean before reading this list then you probably will never even think of dipping your feet again. The ocean is filled with animals that can ruin your day, but the Blue Ringed Octopus is the leads the pack.
